What is A Limited Edition or RQ?
Limited Edition or Restricted Quantity Series feature a strictly limited number of outstanding wine kits released on an annual basis. Announced each Fall, specific wines are offered each month from December through April. These unique and intriguing wines are available only during their month of release and are so immensely popular that pre-ordering is highly recommended to ensure you’ll receive these sought-after winemaking kits.

Grand Cru International Limited Release 5-Week Kits

Australian Viognier- This kit comes with toasted American oak powder. It is fruity with apples and pears on the nose, and hints of vanilla in the background. The wine has balanced acidity to compliment the fruit and light oak notes.
California Meritage- This kit comes with Dried Genuwine Merlot skins and a blend of American and French oak chips. The wine has dark chocolate with hints of dried red fruits and green pepper on the nose.

California Hang Ten (Muscat Symphony, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay) – A luscious blend with flavours and aromas of peach, apricot, baked apples and pear. SOLD OUT
Spain TORO (Monastrell, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon) – Rich and concentrated, this delicious blend offers ripe huckleberry, blueberry and cassis flavors with toasted oak and spice notes. It has soft round tannins and a long finish. Available now.
Argentine Tango (Tempranillo Malbec) – This deep, purple-coloured blend has aromas of ripe red and black fruits with notes of vanilla and chocolate. These flavours are repeated on the palate which is well balanced with good length and intensity of tannins. Included is a 250g bag of Genuwine Grapes Skins and a blend of American & French oak. Australia Down Under (Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot) – Characterized by rich fruit intensity, a deep colour and fine aromas, this blend will offer complexity, structure and great length. Also included is a 250g bag of Genuwine Grapes Skins and some French oak. March 2012
Australia Down Under Rosé (Syrah, Merlot) – Think pink this spring. A delicious alternative in the RQ family. Intense strawberry and cherry aromas. Excellent fruit concentration with a slightly sweet finish. April 2012
Cellarcraft Showcase 2012 Collection
Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir – This bright ruby-hued wine is medium-bodied with classic aromatics dominated by bright cherry, fresh raspberry, elegant spice and subtle notes from medium toast Hungarian oak introduced post-fermentation. The palate shows more cherry, a suggestion of black fruits and licorice with a balance of vibrant coastal acidity and fine tannins. January
California Nebbiolo – A BIG wine with deep, brooding red colour, dense and traditional in style with highly extracted ripe fruit, dark spice, tobacco notes, high alcohol and very pointed tannins that give a sense of power and majesty. After a year the cherry fruit aromas and flavours begin to show balanced integration with the spice notes, the 2- stage Hungarian oaks, the maturing tannins and the elevated alcohol level. February
Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon/Chardonnay – Our exclusive blend is 37% Sauvignon Blanc from Lake County California; 35% California Semillon and 28% Chardonnay from California and Yakima Valley, Washington. Sauvignon Blanc establishes a base with gooseberry, citrus and grassy notes. Semillon adds lushness, softness and fullness to the mouth feel. Chardonnay contributes apple, pear, melon and more structure. A flavour Reserve of Chenin Blanc is included for optional use. March
Red Mountain Trio- Cabernet/Syrah/Merlot – 65% Cabernet; 35% Syrah and 15% Merlot. The power of RM Cab with its black currant, unique notes of orange essence and notable minerality and chalk will drive the blend. Syrah will add brightness, black fruit and peppery spice while Merlot helps integrate and soften the whole for earlier approachability. April

Washington Meritage – A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot, this wine features great extract, deep colour and intense aromatics of dark berry fruit, cassis, peppery spice, cedar and smoke. The seductive nose of this wine foreshadows magnificent texture and flavour, including dark berries, liquorice, vanilla and warm brown spices that glide across the palate. SOLD OUT
South African Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon – Sauvignon Blanc has wild, herbaceous flavours and tart, grapefruit-like character, which shows strongly in the young wine, while Sémillon has flavours of honeydew melon and sweet honey that take a bit longer to come out. Together the two grapes make a lush, balanced wine with great up-front fruit and a satisfying, rich finish. SOLD OUT
California Petite Sirah/Zinfandel – Grippingly tannic, bold and deeply coloured Petite Sirah complements the jamminess of Zinfandel, taming the abundant blueberries and blackberries with a hint of dark cherry and vanilla. Full-bodied with a lingering palate and peppery spice, this is a wine of unprecedented power and length. February
German Traminer Spatlese – This is a gently golden-coloured wine, unmistakable in its heady, aromatic intensity, with a pungent fragrance of lychee, tropical fruit and rose petals. Its flavours are ample, lusciously fruity and spicy. March
Spanish Matador Trio Red – Tempranillo are deep blue-black berries, high in colour and extract, with delicate aromas. Cabernet Sauvignon’s small berries yield high tannins and intense structure, while Monastrell adds grip, earthiness and ripe red fruit. Lush, tannic and complex, with intense black fruit flavours of black cherry, raspberry, black currant and notes of plums and tobacco, the wine takes gracefully to oak, adding layers of vanilla, cedar and rich coffee nuances.
