Bred in 1986, Helga is derived from Hallertau Mittlefruh and gives a truly Australian twist to this German noble hop. A low to mid range alpha acid varietal Helga has a delicate and forgiving nature whether used in the kettle, whirlpool or dry hopping. She imparts subtle floral and herbal notes and is great for stronger malt ale and lager brews.
