Description
It has an extraordinary flavour profile of grapefruit, lime and tropical fruits but despite its high alphas, brewers often warn against its use for bittering, which is considered by some to be harsh and undesirable. Lineage is a cross between Hallertau Mittelfreuh, U.S. Tettnanger, Bavarian, Brewers Gold and E.K. Golding. High in demand and sometimes short in supply.
