Dried Mugwort is a very traditional spice used in the days prior to hops. Mugwort produces a sage-like aroma in beer. It was normally used in holiday, smoked, and Belgian specialty beers, and is complimented by the flavors of orange peel, juniper, and licorice root. Use up to 1 oz per 5 gallon batch.
